Leaf cruncher, biscuit enthusiast, learns best after a warmup walk. Extra notes go here to show how the card grows with lots of text: training milestones, snack preferences, daily routine, and funny quirks without truncation.
Hi there! And welcome to Hoppipolla. This is a petz (P4+) blog that has recently been raised from the dead. Please hang in there while I make updates and get the site in order!
The name Hoppipolla is Icelandic and it means “Jumping into puddles” and I just thought it was a playful and unique title when I originally created my petz site over 10 years ago. I hope you have fun looking around! I’ll be adopting out petz that are both bred and hexed, so make sure to check out the Adoption page if you’re interested in adopting!
Today’s Treats: 🦴 🍪 🍩
Meet the puddle-jumpers! This page highlights naturally raised Dogz: calm introductions, gentle routines, and snack-positive training. I log firsts (first sit, first recall) and celebrate quirks over speed.

Zoomies → sniffari → cookie. Building confidence with clicker play. Loves treat puzzles and slow intros with new friends.
Cozy window naps, puddle scout, adores milk-drop rewards.
Window seats, sunbeams, and crunchy snacks. I let each cat set the pace—short sessions, lots of praise, and enrichment that favors curiosity over tricks.

About: Oh Davies, this cat was the one that started all this madness that has accumulated into Hoppipolla. I raised Davies from kitten hood and quickly discovered how fun hand-raising can be. He loves to do tricks, and cries if you ignore him for like two seconds. He’s so silly and utterly ridiculous at times it amazes me, but nonetheless he is probably one of the best catz I could ask for.
